RAISIN BRAN MUFFINS

(Jan’s recipe)

  • 1 box Kellogg’s 15 oz. raisin bran (20 oz. O.K.)
  • 1 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 4 c. sugar (I use 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 cups)
  • 5 c. flour
  • 5 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. salt
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 t. vanilla

Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the rest. Using muffin pans, bake in 375° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
