WEEG’S CHEESE APPETIZERS

  • 2 jars Olde English Cheese Spread
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 4 oz. can diced green chilies
  • 1 4 oz. can diced pimento
  • 1 4 oz. can chopped olives

Get cheeses to room temperature. Drain chilies, pimento, and olives; pat dry with paper towel.

Spread cheese spread on sheet of Saran wrap; then roll be­tween two sheets to 12″ x 8″. Spread cream cheese on top. On center four to five inches, spread the other ingredients. Fold the two sides to the middle and seal. Cover with plate; turn over. Chill before serving.

    GLENOUS’ PARTY MIX

    • 1 box Wheat Chex
    • 1 small box Cheerios
    • 1 small bag of pretzels
    • 1 can mixed nuts or peanuts
    • 1 t. garlic salt
    • 2 t. seasoning salt
    • 2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
    • 1/2 lb. melted butter

    Melt butter in open roasting pan in preheated 225° oven. Stir in seasonings. Gradually add rest of ingredients. Heat at 225° for two hours, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
